The reception is the heart of the hotel and is the natural hub for both guests and staff. Here, the first impressions are formed when guests arrive and the last before they continue their journey.

What does the role of a receptionist entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for check-in and check-out, providing personal service, and actively working with upselling. You also handle the telephone switchboard, receive and manage bookings, and perform various reception-related administrative tasks.

Through your approach and professionalism, you contribute to ensuring that every guest has a smooth, positive, and memorable experience.

You are the natural point of contact for questions, requests, and recommendations, and assist guests with everything from restaurant tips to practical arrangements.

Who are you?

The work can vary in pace, so you need to be flexible, resilient under stress, and able to solve problems with a calm and friendly demeanor.

As a receptionist at Edward Hotel, you have the opportunity every day to meet people from all over the world and contribute to making their experience as memorable and personal as possible.

You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a work tool.

Experience is an advantage, but the right attitude is the most important. Fluency in Swedish and English is required.

Information about the position

The position is a seasonal employment of about 60-70%, between May and August.

The work schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends.
