Technical Manager at Riksbyggen – Make a Difference in People's Everyday Lives

Do you want to combine technology, customer contact, and community benefit? As a technical manager at Riksbyggen, you will be a key person in creating safe, sustainable, and thriving living environments – every day.

What Does the Role Entail?

As a technical manager, you are the extended arm of the housing cooperative and property owner. You are responsible for:

• Monitoring the condition of properties and planning long-term maintenance
• Establishing and following up on maintenance plans
• Leading and following up on technical projects and contracts
• Providing technical advice to boards and customers
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and authority requirements
• Handling insurance cases, disturbances, and authority inspections

You work closely with our specialists – economists, technicians, customer managers, and property caretakers – and act as the link between customer needs and our resources. The role is both independent and social, with great freedom to shape your workday.

Location and Working Method

The position is based in Uppsala, and you will work with customers throughout the market area. A B driver's license is therefore a requirement. The role also includes 1–2 board assignments in housing cooperatives, which may involve evening meetings. We offer flexible working hours as compensation.

Who Are You?

You have:

• Experience in the construction or property industry
• A university degree in construction, property technology, or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in customer contact and advisory work
• Knowledge of laws, authority requirements, and procurement

Experience in board work or engagement in housing cooperatives is an advantage.

You are a person who:

• Is social, attentive, and service-oriented
• Enjoys taking responsibility and working independently
• Has a good ability to structure, prioritize, and drive processes
• Likes to collaborate and build long-term relationships
