Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and on weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center.

We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The Ljungsbro Health Center currently has about 10,900 registered patients with specialist clinics in child health care, diabetes, elderly care, asthma/COPD, wound care, and incontinence. We also have a dietitian and a counseling clinic with a counselor, rehabilitation coordinator, psychiatric nurse, and psychologist. Occupational therapists and physiotherapists are also part of the organization.

Our ambition is to offer our patients care of the highest possible quality. We work in teams to ensure continuity and strengthen cohesion. We have well-established routines for following up on our most seriously ill patients, including developed areas of responsibility to drive development forward. We welcome students and training doctors and receive consistently good reviews from our trainees, many of whom actively seek to return to us for further placements and employment.

Job Description

We offer you a challenging and varied job at our medical clinic. We hope that you will become interested in the breadth of the specialty of general medicine and consider a future in primary care. As a junior doctor with us, you will receive regular supervision. Together we will design an introduction based on your needs.

Work Group

We are about 45 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work climate. The medical clinic currently consists of 7 specialist doctors, 5 ST doctors, and 1 AT doctor.

At the health center, there are medical consultations, specialist nurse consultations, nursing consultations, child health care, psychosocial competence, foot care, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for three special accommodations.

About You

We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical degree or Swedish medical license (to be attached to the application). Furthermore, you have Swedish language skills equivalent to level Swedish C1. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other organizations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

As a person, you are confident in yourself and have good collaboration skills. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. It is also important that you are unpretentious, curious to learn new things, and see constructive feedback as a natural part of daily work. You can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
