We are now looking for a conference service staff member at Scandic Crown. In this role, you will greet our guests with a warm and professional demeanor and, together with the team, help create a world-class guest experience. What does the role of Conference Service Staff entail?

As a conference host with us, you will work with serving in a conference environment and help create a pleasant overall experience for our guests. The work focuses on coffee breaks and lunch service as well as keeping buffets, serving areas, and meeting rooms clean, organized, and inviting by replenishing, clearing away, and setting tables.

You will be present during conferences and ensure that the practical aspects run smoothly throughout the day. This means preparing and taking care of coffee buffets, serving lunches, arranging and restoring rooms, and working according to our routines for hygiene, sustainability, and waste sorting. The pace may vary, and the work is active, but always with a focus on quality and service.

In this role, you will meet our conference guests with a warm and professional demeanor. You will assist with simple inquiries and basic technical support and contribute with engagement, teamwork, and a solution-oriented attitude that makes our guests feel well taken care of.

You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket.

Who are you?

To fit in this role, we believe you have a well-developed social ability and are capable of handling many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests and have the ability to sell.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with computers as a work tool. You are familiar with Simphony and Opera and have broad knowledge and experience in hotels and F&B.

Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite.

However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit in this role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a permanent part-time employment.

Working hours vary between early mornings and late evenings, as well as being scheduled on weekdays and weekends.
