Previous experience is desired
Previous experience in food preparation, catering, retail, and/or customer service is desirable but not necessary – you will receive full training and will attend various courses at the University of Subway®. It is more important that you are a team player with a winning attitude. If you are currently working in customer service, in retail as a sales assistant, in a restaurant, if you are studying or are a recent graduate looking to start a career in the food industry – then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare food, including baking bread and cookies
- Ensure that food storage and preparation areas meet health and safety standards as well as internal audits
- Follow the food code of conduct
- Cashier duties
- Perform cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules
- Follow safety procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
- Make a proper impression in Subway® uniform to meet brand and customer expectations
- Work as part of a team
- Deliver high standard service when handling products, during sales, and in customer interactions.
