The City Service Administration has an important and exciting mission. We deliver, coordinate, and develop services for Mölndal's municipal administrations. The administration has just over 300 employees. We are organized into five operational areas: meals, cleaning, property services, transport, mail and courier services, and city services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
For our meal services, we are looking for substitute workers, both cooks and meal assistants, who want to work in a flexible role. At Meal Services, you will have the opportunity to be part of the journey towards Sweden's best public meal service! Here, you will prepare meals for the world's most important diners, namely children, young people, and the elderly. You contribute to serving good, sustainable, and healthy meals every day.
Your role involves stepping in at short notice to cover for the absence of regular staff. Through the booking system TimeCarePool, you can manage which days you are available for work. To ensure continuity in our operations, we see that you can work at least three days a week.
Upon employment, there will be an overview of the meal service's mission and booking for shadowing and introduction.
QUALIFICATIONS
To work as a substitute within meal services with us, you need:
- A valid criminal record check!
- To understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
- Basic computer skills
- To be at least 18 years old
You should have food safety training. It is an advantage if you have experience working in a large kitchen. It is important that you work efficiently under stress, can balance different demands, and remain calm in difficult situations. You who apply have a burning interest in cooking good food and want to develop within the profession as well as have a sense of service. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of special diets and various forms of food allergies.
You should have a good ability to receive meal instructions through writing and speech in Swedish. Therefore, you need to master Swedish in both spoken and written form.
