About us

This is a replacement for a retirement position, and the role of healthcare strategist is located in the Quality Department within Healthcare at the Regional Office. The department serves as a central function in the work of quality-driven business development. This position will manage national knowledge support from our authorities and from the national knowledge management related to mental health, and will support the healthcare administrations in the area of mental health as needed. The area of mental health is a separate program area within the national knowledge management, and we see a continued increased focus on issues related to this area in the future.

The department's healthcare strategists work closely together, and collaboration also occurs with the pharmaceutical strategists and other healthcare strategists within healthcare. We are an experienced team with various competencies and different experiences. We also work closely with representatives from healthcare operations. Participating in various networks with authorities, other regions, and municipalities is part of the job.

The department is HBTQI-certified and has a norm-critical approach where interaction and respect towards colleagues and partners are fundamental.

About the work

In this role, you will be a central part of our work to create a more knowledge-based and equitable healthcare system. You will:

• Prepare cases for decisions, produce decision-making materials, and respond to motions and referrals.
• Conduct surveys and investigations of a strategic nature that affect future healthcare.
• Develop and drive local knowledge management in Halland.
• Coordinate national and regional initiatives related to knowledge management, with a focus on mental health.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education in healthcare and broad clinical experience in healthcare, where we prefer that you have worked at different levels of care and in various specialties. If you have system competence from the perspective of healthcare, this is an advantage, both at the national, regional, and local levels.

Furthermore, we consider it an advantage if you have experience preparing cases at the political level, can lead processes, projects, or have other leadership experience, and have worked with national knowledge support or regional applications in the form of care guidelines or routines. If you have other forms of leadership, we also see that as an advantage.

We are keen to recruit the right person for our team. For this role, we see it as very important that you have good collaboration skills with both internal and external parties, you have a good overall perspective while also having an eye for detail, and you work well in teams but can also handle independent work.

To ensure good and safe communication with partners and colleagues, we require good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You are a persistent and motivated person who maintains focus even when processes take time. You collaborate smoothly with others, communicate clearly, and solve challenges constructively. With your ability to create and nurture relationships, you build strong networks. You have pedagogical insight and adapt your message according to the recipient's needs. Additionally, you think strategically, see the big picture, and act with long-term goals in mind. Your good judgment allows you to prioritize correctly and make well-founded decisions even in complex situations. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
