Our Operations
The Department of Orthopedics and Hand Surgery is a workplace in constant development. The operations include an orthopedic adult emergency department, management of acute and elective orthopedic conditions, as well as a pediatric orthopedic unit with both acute and elective services. The main focus is highly specialized and base-oriented orthopedic care within seven sections: prosthetic surgery, spinal surgery, fracture surgery, shoulder/knee surgery, foot surgery, hand surgery, and pediatric orthopedics. In addition to patients from Uppsala County, a large number of national and regional patients are managed within each subspecialty. The operations have a close collaboration with orthopedic clinics in the region and comprise about 300 employees.
We are now looking for a specialist physician for the shoulder/knee section to work in shoulder and knee surgery.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a specialist in orthopedics with experience in shoulder-knee surgery. An academic profile is highly meritorious. You have a commitment to operational development and an ambition to contribute to our continued development towards internationally high standards.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability. We value good collaboration and communication skills, a humble and responsible approach, as well as pedagogical skills.
We Offer
A permanent full-time position (100%). On-call duty is included. Start date according to agreement. A part of the work is located at Enköping Hospital.
