The Role

This autumn -26, residence F, focusing on cognitive impairment, will open at Lövsta care and nursing home.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will:

• Create a safe and pleasant environment where each individual receives the care they need, including everything from personal care and service to social support
• Play a crucial role in supporting our users in their daily lives
• Work closely with other staff to ensure high quality care
• Document according to the Social Services Act, administer medication, and perform rehabilitation efforts as delegated
• Participate in planning and implementing activities that promote social community and health
• Be an extended arm and engaged contact person for users

Parts of your working hours are not fixed in the unit's basic schedule but will be fulfilled as needs arise.

Is this you?

You can present a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or you can prove permanent employment as a nursing assistant according to current directives from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

• You have experience working in elderly care with a focus on care, dementia, mental health, and previous experience working with the BPSD registry
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and computer skills to be able to document in our IT systems
• You are a responsive and communicative person who can provide a friendly reception and support users in their wishes and needs
• In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and focus on solutions
• You are engaged, responsible, and self-driven
