The Social Administration works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of social services' assignments and various legislations, as well as based on the values of the Social Administration. This can involve home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, financial assistance, or help with substance abuse problems. The municipality's competency supply unit is also part of the administration.

The Social Administration is divided into five areas: Home Care, Care and Nursing Homes, Health and Medical Care, Individual and Family Care, and the area for people with disabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a relative consultant, your role includes supporting relatives both at the group and individual level and being a collaborative partner for the operations in relative matters. You will work to create and conduct a cohesive and structured support system for relatives within the Social Administration. You will work proactively and preventively to early identify the situation of relatives and inform or offer adequate support and interventions.

In this role, you will:

• work motivatingly and proactively to engage, support, and guide relatives in contact with the municipality
• work with long-term, sustainable, and preventive interventions related to the target group both at a general level and in relation to individuals
• be responsible for creating a cohesive and shared understanding of the work with relative support within the administration
• collaborate with other operational areas, actors, and partners, both internally and externally
• independently conduct environmental monitoring for your professional area and participate in the administration's development work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree and experience in social work, preferably with a focus on the elderly or people with disabilities.

You have experience and high competence in conducting supportive, reflective, and difficult conversations. You possess good empathetic abilities, are secure and stable, and can lead group discussions. You are accustomed to environmental monitoring and have good knowledge of societal support and services.

The work is very independent but also requires collaboration skills as cooperation with other actors and colleagues is an important part of the operations.

You express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and can clearly inform about the operations in various contexts, including digitally. If you have additional language skills, please indicate this in your application.
