There is an increasing demand for backup power solutions among our customers, both military and civilian. Combitech actively participates in the development, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of systems in this area. Your role as a Systems Engineer in Power/Backup Power Solutions

In this role, you will primarily work with the Armed Forces or civilian backup power solutions and systems. We work on both larger delivery projects and smaller assignments, always in close collaboration with our customers. The work involves collaborating with the customer to develop new systems, improve existing solutions, customize to specific needs, troubleshoot issues in the systems currently in use, and decommission old systems to enable the development of new ones.

The role includes project management, documentation preparation, and practical work, such as testing and evaluating products or systems. You will work in project teams with a focus on collaboration, but you will also work independently on your tasks.

Travel of varying lengths is included in the position, for example, to customer facilities or suppliers.

Who are you?

We believe you have some form of technical engineering education, such as a master's degree or a bachelor's degree in engineering, and/or work experience in backup power, electrical power, and maintenance, preferably related to the Armed Forces. Competence in the field is a significant advantage, but with the right attitude and relevant background, there are good opportunities to succeed and grow into the role.

We are looking for a person who is communicative, can lead discussions, and hold meetings. You need to be proactive and able to drive projects forward. We also see that you are flexible and have the ability to switch between different projects and tasks. In your work, you will collaborate with various authorities, companies, and colleagues from other locations, which requires you to be cooperative and a team player.

Since the position involves work subject to defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
