The Control area has units in nine different locations in Sweden. The main task of the Control Investigation activity is to investigate the right to compensation where there is a suspicion of incorrect payments that an individual may have deliberately caused and to return the knowledge from these investigations to the departments to prevent incorrect payments.

Close leadership, broad assignment, and a sustainable workplace As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and the operation. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and give your employees the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as responsibility for results and follow-up for the teams in your unit. You also represent Försäkringskassan in external collaboration.

Your unit consists of about 25 employees who primarily work with control investigations and are based in Stockholm. The unit includes insurance investigators, administrative officers, and a specialist. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goal images the department has set and develop the plans your operation needs.

As a unit manager, you support the area manager and are part of the area's management group, which consists of 5 unit managers located from Stockholm to Umeå. In the management group work, you contribute your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

  • have experience in production management of case handling
  • have experience in planning your operations in collaboration with colleagues at a distance
  • have current experience from inter-agency collaboration, for example, against organized crime.
