We at Norlandia Elderly Care are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/caregiver and want to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Kastanjen elderly home this summer. As a nursing assistant/caregiver, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their old age. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant/caregiver, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. A very exciting job, indeed!

Kastanjen has 16 apartments spread over two floors, focusing on people with dementia.

As a summer substitute at Norlandia, you will have access to Cappy – an app that allows you to keep track of working hours and salary in real-time. You can see preliminary salary and how extra shifts affect your pay, can withdraw up to 50% of earned salary if needed (hourly employees; 29 SEK/withdrawal, no credit/interest), and gain access to training in personal finance.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We would like you to have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer substitute

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide a criminal record extract. You also need to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
