Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to make a difference in people's everyday lives while being part of a warm and supportive team? We are currently looking for a care assistant for Central Home Care who wants to work evening shifts. With us, you will have the opportunity to provide personal care to clients in their own homes based on their needs, assistance decisions, and individual implementation plans.

As part of our team, you will have a meaningful assignment where you contribute to safety, independence, and quality of life for our clients.

Your tasks include providing support with:

• Personal care and hygiene.
• Social interaction and conversation.
• Medication management.
• Cleaning, laundry, and other household chores.
• Accompaniment to activities outside the home - and much more.

All our positions are based on 100% as a foundation, but you have the option to apply for leave down to a percentage that suits you better. Your schedule includes resource shifts, which means you will work in other units within the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, and experience in the healthcare profession is considered an asset. You need to be able to provide proof of a protected professional title or approved grades/diplomas from healthcare and social care education.

You have a positive attitude towards development, are flexible, and see new changes as fun challenges. As a person, you should have a genuine interest in helping our clients in need of support in their daily lives. One of your strengths is the ability to see their individual needs, and you should be driven by a desire to create the best conditions for a meaningful and safe everyday life. For us, it is important that you are engaged and enjoy your job. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to take responsibility for what is required and contribute to a good atmosphere in the staff group.

You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written (requirement for passing SFI course D) and be accustomed to cycling.
