The Assignment

We are looking for a machine operator for our client in Kumla, who operates in the printing industry. As a machine operator for our client, you will work with printing presses or die-cutting machines, responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring the presses. You are a solution-oriented person who ensures that both quality requirements and efficiency are met.

Examples of tasks

• Prepare, set up, and operate offset printing presses
• Refill materials
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of the machines
• Follow up on routines for quality, environment, and hygiene
• Report deviations
• Improvement work

The work is currently scheduled for 2 shifts but may increase to 3 shifts during periods, which means you need to be flexible for day, evening, and night shifts.

Who you are

We are looking for someone with a technical interest and experience as a machine operator; a background in graphic design and experience as a printer is highly meritorious. If you also have a personal technical interest with good skills in tinkering and fixing, we see that as a plus.

You are a practical and solution-oriented person who always strives for high quality. You have a strong work ethic and contribute positively to the team through your engagement and sense of responsibility. Previous experience as an offset printer is a plus, but we place the most emphasis on the right attitude and willingness to learn. Good Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement.
