Your role with us

Working as a nursing assistant means you get to work with something of the best and most enriching there is - helping to make everyday life meaningful for our customers. A professional approach and a good attitude are a given for us. We constantly work with a customer focus, where we have the customers' needs and wishes at the center. An important part of the work is to work in a team around the customer for a good overall view, and you need to be solution-focused and able to work calmly and consciously with a low-arousal approach. We have a positive attitude and an understanding of the importance of a good working environment that we create together.

The work includes being a contact person for customers and holding one or more areas of responsibility or representative roles. Good contact with relatives is important, and as a contact person, you become an important link for the customer to all involved.

You will be offered a varied job with care interventions, activities, and delegated tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff. Administrative tasks such as documentation in journals, creating implementation plans, and conducting risk assessments are a natural part of the work.

You will work day, evening, and weekend shifts every other weekend.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant and have a completed care and nursing program or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. It is an advantage if you have previous experience of working in care and nursing, from working in a care and nursing home, as well as if you have education in psychiatry or dementia.

For the position of specialist nursing assistant, we prefer that you have a focus on psychiatry or elderly health.

Since communication and documentation are part of your duties, you need to have documentation and computer skills and be proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and has self-awareness. You can motivate and inspire and have a professional attitude towards everyone you meet in your work. Furthermore, you have the ability to independently plan and structure your work while respecting decisions made. We want you to be meticulous, engaged, and responsible in the work you perform. You have good collaboration skills that promote a good working environment and a solution-focused approach in your cooperation with customers, relatives, and colleagues.

We have a good location in Hammar with proximity to public transport just outside the residence. Hammarshemmet consists of 24 apartments spread over 2 floors. We collaborate with other care and nursing homes in central Kristianstad with our shared resources.

The Care Administration's operations are aimed at the elderly and people who need functional support as well as those in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
