We are looking for

We are looking for restaurant assistants for Restaurant Källan as well as kitchen assistants and cooks to the production kitchen at Sunderby Hospital.
You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have a high school diploma from the hotel and restaurant program or other equivalent industry education. Experience working in large kitchens, cash handling, and knowledge of special diets is desirable. Particularly valuable is experience in preparing special diets, as this is an important part of our work with patient meals.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is service-oriented, meticulous, and has good teamwork skills.

What you will work with

As a restaurant assistant, you will work together with a team of about six employees in Restaurant Källan at Sunderby Hospital. Your tasks include dishwashing, cleaning, and cash handling. You are also responsible for preparing the premises and equipment between tasks and after work is completed. An important part of the role is to follow routines for the self-control program, including documentation.

As a kitchen assistant, you will become part of the production kitchen at Sunderby Hospital. Here you will work with dish handling, preparation for cooking, portioning, packing, and labeling meals for different customer groups. You will participate in simpler kitchen tasks and cleaning and will have close cooperation with cooks. Just like in the restaurant, you are responsible for ensuring that the premises and equipment are prepared between tasks and after work is completed, as well as ensuring that the self-control program is followed and documented according to routine.

As a cook, you will work in the production kitchen at Sunderby Hospital together with other employees. Your main tasks are to prepare all food for patients and for the restaurant at the hospital. The role also includes responsibility for preparing the premises and equipment between tasks and after work is completed. You will follow and document the self-control program according to established routines.

Information about the position

We are looking for substitutes starting from the turn of the year with the possibility of a longer substitute position over the summer. The summer job period is between June 1 and August 31.

The working hours for restaurant assistants are scheduled during the day, Monday - Friday.

The working hours for kitchen assistants and cooks are scheduled during the day with weekends included.

Start date will be agreed upon. Selection and interviews will be ongoing, which means that the positions may be filled before the application deadline.
