About the Workplace

At Linvävaren, children and young people with disabilities come for a change of environment, support, relaxation, and to socialize with other children and young people. Starting in February 2026, our existing supervision service will also offer short-term accommodation, and we are therefore expanding our staff group.

Job Responsibilities

Your work includes everything from supporting, helping, and ensuring the development of skills to prepare our children and young people for the future. You will provide support during various activities, with hygiene, during meals, and in social interactions.

Much of your work will involve being creative, attentive, and working in a clear and structured manner. You should be prepared to be outdoors a lot and come up with various activities or just take it easy. The needs of the children and young people will guide your work.

Challenging behavior is common, and you will work from a low-arousal approach. Furthermore, documentation is also an important part of your work since everything we do is planned, documented, and carefully followed up.

Our child and youth services have a close collaboration with each other, and the position requires you to be flexible as work may also take place in other services as needed. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma from the health and care program or has studied the child and leisure program with a focus on social and pedagogical work. The position requires that you are used to working in a low-arousal manner, have experience with clear pedagogical methods, and have experience working with the target group, either within LSS or in schools or leisure activities.

You also need to have basic computer skills and experience with documentation. We prefer that you have a B driver's license.

It is advantageous if you have training in low-arousal responses, knowledge of children and young people with NPF diagnoses, or experience working with TAKK and AKK. If you have had delegation for feeding tubes or insulin, we also see this as an advantage.
