JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Special Housing

Here you will work in a nursing home with a rehabilitative approach for individuals who are in great need of care and support around the clock. We also provide respite care for individuals needing regular relief and assistance, as well as short-term housing for those who have difficulty managing on their own after a hospital stay.

Ordinary Housing

Here you will work in a home care group, providing support and assistance in the homes of our residents in Borlänge. Our clients are primarily elderly, but individuals of all ages can receive help. The home care service also includes night patrol and day activities.

General tasks for elderly care: Provide personal care such as assistance with toilet visits, hygiene, cleaning, laundry, transfers, dressing and undressing, medication management, and meals. The work also includes social care such as socializing and stimulating the elderly to have a pleasant day with various activities.

Working hours: Day, evening, night, and weekends

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to document according to the organization's requirements
• Comfortable working with both women and men
• A police record extract is required upon employment

Meritorious (depending on the organization)

• Educational, nursing, or care assistant training
• Experience in disability care or elderly care
• Experience in dementia care, short-term housing, or personal assistance
• Training in low-arousal approach
• Delegated care tasks
• Driver's license
• Ability to ride a bike

Personal Characteristics

Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities, such as having a good view of people, being attentive, empathetic, responsible, and flexible. You enjoy working both independently and in a team.
