Ålems Sparbank is a local bank that started its operations in 1854. Today, the bank consists of three offices located in Ålem, Blomstermåla, and a newly opened office in Nybro. The business currently employs 42 staff members with a business volume of just over 12 billion SEK. Together, we have more than 400 years of combined professional experience.

About the position

We are now looking for engaged customer service representatives for both summer and part-time positions year-round. A fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the banking world.

In customer service, you play an important role in the business by being available and helpful in the customer's daily banking matters.

The work includes:

  • Providing service to customers both at the counter/customer service, via phone, and through digital channels.
  • Administrative tasks and providing information about our products and services.
  • Ensuring that all matters are handled according to regulations, security procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

The work is conducted at the bank's offices in Ålem, Blomstermåla, and Nybro. We are looking for employees for all offices. The employment may involve working at one or more offices depending on the needs of the business. Flexibility regarding the workplace is an advantage.

About you

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in service and customer interaction. You are meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with others. You have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We are looking for a team player who strives for the team's success as much as your own.

Previous experience in banking customer service is an advantage but not a requirement; we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications

For the position, you must be of legal age and have completed upper secondary education. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English; both spoken and written, as well as basic computer skills. The position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the banking and finance industry.
