Meals is a service sector operation within the municipality of Ulricehamn. The mission is to serve meals to all preschool and school students as well as to assessed individuals in special accommodations, group homes, or in their own homes. Today, there are 34 kitchens included in the food service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a pool cook, you have a varied and responsible job where you perform all common tasks in a large kitchen. This includes cooking, serving, dishwashing, self-control, and ordering. One day you work independently in a preschool kitchen, and the next day you are part of a kitchen team in a larger kitchen.

You work throughout the municipality of Ulricehamn, which means you need to be flexible and able to step in at different kitchens at short notice. The position is mainly scheduled for weekdays, but weekend work may occur. Travel for work is done with your own car and is reimbursed according to the applicable mileage compensation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained cook or has other relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience working in a large kitchen or restaurant and good knowledge of food hygiene. A B driver's license and access to your own car are required for the position.

As a person, you are self-sufficient, flexible, and confident in taking your own initiatives. You have a strong service focus, can handle a fast pace, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You are communicative, responsible, and contribute to a positive work environment through your loyalty and good teamwork skills.

In the municipality of Ulricehamn, we see multilingualism as an asset and welcome diversity among our employees. However, to succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
