As a nursing assistant in a short-term care facility, you will work together with your colleagues to provide care tailored to the individual. We support our care recipients with personal care, daily rehabilitation, and social activation to create a meaningful everyday life. Our focus is that each person, according to their own ability, should be able to manage as much as possible on their own to be able to go home. We work in teams where we collaborate and prioritize the work both within and between teams.

You will follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes, and maintain a respectful and professional demeanor towards both care recipients, colleagues, relatives, and other individuals we meet in our work.

What you will be working with:

• Assist with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits, as well as support during meals
• Be part of a flexible workplace with a rehabilitative approach where care needs change constantly
• Work according to person-centered care where you adapt support according to the individual's unique needs and wishes
• The role includes administering medication, which means you need to receive delegation from licensed personnel. You may also need to take on other delegated HSL tasks
• Support with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and minor purchases in the local area
• Participate in social activities, providing support and guidance
• Document and stay updated in digital systems. Write clear records, document according to guidelines, and establish and follow implementation plans to ensure good quality and safe care
• Collaborate with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, as well as cooperate with relatives
• Follow workplace routines and guidelines
• Be a contact person and plan together with the individual how the interventions should be carried out.

Who are you?

You who are applying are a trained nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, both in reading, speaking, and writing. We would like you to have experience from hospitals, home care, or dementia care, but it is not a requirement.

We value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is secure, flexible, and takes responsibility for their own tasks. You have a good ability to collaborate and build relationships with a respectful and helpful demeanor. You have an understanding of other people's needs and feelings.

We conduct language tests for positions within elderly care, so you may need to take a test before a possible employment.
