We are currently seeking a quality engineer for our client in the defense industry. As a quality engineer in production, you will work on the establishment of a new factory. During the initial period, you will be involved in the verification and qualification of new machines and processes at an equipment supplier. The work is done in collaboration with other quality and industrialization engineers and includes planning, execution, and follow-up of verification and testing work. You will help ensure that equipment and processes meet quality requirements before they are moved and put into operation in the new factory.

Once the verification work is completed, the role will transition to quality assurance in production. You will then work closely with production and development, focusing on quality assurance, improvement work, and stabilization of processes in series production.

Examples of tasks:

• Drive and participate in the verification and qualification of new machines and production processes

• Plan and conduct FMEA, control plans, and capability analyses

• Lead and coordinate quality and improvement work in production

• Investigate deviations through root cause analysis and define and follow up corrective actions

• Participate in product and process audits

The job involves travel to Gislaved during the initial phase, where work takes place at an external supplier a few days a week. A company car is available for use. Once production is operational, the work will be on-site in Karlskoga.

To succeed in this role, you need to have your own drive, the ability to take initiative, and a willingness to help build new working methods. You thrive in collaboration with others, are unpretentious, and can easily communicate quality risks and improvement suggestions in various forums.

We also expect you to have:

• At least two years of experience in the quality field

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in areas such as quality, mechanics, chemistry, or industrial economics
