Then we offer numerous career opportunities in a well-functioning and growing municipality with both nature and urban pulse around the corner. With us, you will feel safe, involved, and proud as we make a difference every day. In Huddinge Municipality, we work to create a sustainable society where nature, technology, and good service interact. Huddinge is a large municipality in Stockholm with approximately 6,400 employees and more than 110,000 residents.
The Social Administration is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercises for children, youth, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
Our mission is to increase individuals' opportunities to live under the best possible living conditions and to empower individuals to live independently. We are a social service that is at the forefront of prevention work and the transition to an even more accessible and knowledge-based social service.
The Children's Unit
The Children's Unit is part of the Child and Youth Section within Individual and Family Care (IFO). We work with investigations and follow-ups of interventions according to SoL and LVU. The target group is families with children aged 0-12 years and their networks.
New employees receive good collegial support from their colleagues and managers. The unit is divided into five smaller groups with a group leader in each group to provide close support to the social workers. Typically, social workers work in pairs.
We have an introduction program that spans the first year of employment and includes individually tailored introductions as well as group training. If you are more experienced, we will collaboratively create a long-term development plan to best promote your continued development. All groups have external supervision and ongoing professional development. We are proud of the work we do and want to continue to strive for improvement. We work collectively across the unit on method and development issues.
