About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those who live with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist who work closely together.

About Kvarnbacken

Kvarnbacken is a nursing home with 45 places located in Tannefors/Linköping near Stångån with fantastic walking paths by the river and the lock. The residence features an award-winning garden with a pétanque court, butterfly bed, greenhouse, berry and fruit beds, and a water lily pond with goldfish. The departments Linden and Björken also have a large shared balcony to enjoy when the weather is at its best.

• We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you as an employee have the opportunity to influence your own working hours, based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.

• You have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group manager can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

Your experience and knowledge

We would like you to be a trained nursing assistant/care assistant or have equivalent experience in elderly care.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
