Your Mission

We are looking for someone who wants to work to promote health factors for children and young people in Söderhamn Municipality, with a particular focus on promoting health factors such as good schooling and preventing absenteeism.

You will work with outreach efforts towards children and young people on their terms. You will create collaboration between stakeholders and build robust structures for early coordinated interventions together with your colleagues.

About the Workplace

Join us in creating a successful Söderhamn! In the Child and Learning sector, we focus on children and young people up to 20 years old. The sector gathers activities and competencies that together have the greatest impact to give all children the opportunity to be entrepreneurs in their own lives - so they can choose their own future. Educational activities, preventive and promotional activities, as well as social services are part of the sector. Approximately 800 employees work here, meeting children and young people through preschool, primary school, special needs school, culture school, social services, and youth activities at Verkstäderna.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has other education or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You are a self-driven person who takes responsibility for your tasks and drives your processes forward. As a person, you are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts - you create contacts and maintain relationships.

You value diversity and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others. In your communication, you are clear and ensure that messages are conveyed and that expectations are clear for all parties involved. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of the Swedish school system and even more advantageous if you have previously worked in a school environment.

You have a B driver's license.
