About the job

As a personal assistant, you have an important mission to support an individual so that he or she can live an independent and meaningful life, regardless of disability. Your job is where the customer is, which can be both inside and outside the customer's home. The work may involve supporting personal care, household chores, social support, assistance at school/work or leisure activities, communication, and interaction, among other things.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who is responsible and reliable, with a genuine interest in helping others. As a personal assistant, you need to be flexible and open to the work being based on the customer's needs and wishes. You need to handle the Swedish language very well since communication is important. If you have experience in personal assistance or other professions in care, it is an advantage. However, it is not a requirement, as we value personal suitability and chemistry between you and the customer the most. You will spend a lot of time together, so it is of utmost importance that you enjoy each other's company.

Working hours and placement

Working hours vary depending on which customer you work with. For most of our customers, the assistant works day and night shifts with waiting time. Other working hours also occur, such as day, evening, and awake night shifts. If you can work all types of shifts, it is an advantage.

We are looking for substitutes for several of our customers. Therefore, placement will be discussed during the interview.

To be employed with us at OP Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a personal certificate and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
