Description

At the financial support unit, social workers, caseworkers, and budget and debt advisors/consumer guides work together. A senior social worker is present in the unit to provide support in daily operations. The common reception for individual and family care is also organizationally part of the unit. The unit is led by a unit manager.

Responsibilities

In the role of social worker within financial support, your main tasks will be to investigate and assess the right to assistance according to the Social Services Act, and to actively work with the individual for a change in their life situation that leads to self-sufficiency. We view the handling of financial assistance as a qualified social change work aimed at strengthening the individual's conditions for living an independent life. We use the structured assessment method Instrument X as part of our work to clarify people's needs for support on the path to self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another academic education that the employer deems equivalent. For this temporary position, social work students are also welcome to apply.

You have a positive attitude and a great interest and commitment to people and change work. In the role of social worker, it is important that you are flexible and can work independently, but also have good collaboration skills as you will work closely with colleagues and other stakeholders. You contribute to a positive spirit and joy at work within the team. You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Conditions

Individual salary setting applies. A valid driver's license (B) is required. Start date according to agreement.

We apply annual working hours. There is an opportunity for remote work to some extent. We offer external supervision and staff support.
