Service Technician at NorDan AB

About the Position

We are now looking for a service technician for the Aftermarket & Product Development department.

In this role, you will be responsible for service and aftermarket issues with end customers and work with the entire NorDan product range. Your main areas of work are Småland and Stockholm/Uppsala.

The work includes, among other things:

• Adjustment and troubleshooting of products
• Participation in inspections
• Replacement of glass, fittings, and aluminum profiles
• Construction and dismantling of exhibition modules at trade shows
• Booking customer visits and some administration
• Occasional work in the factory as needed

You will carry out all customer assignments in close collaboration with your nearest colleague, which means tight teamwork both in planning and executing service work at the customer.

Please note that the position involves travel with approximately 1-3 overnight stays per week.

Professional Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a service technician, assembler, or similar role in industry, construction, or manufacturing
• Technical understanding and experience of practical work
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Driver's license, at least category B with very good driving experience

It is an advantage if you have experience with glass, window and door assembly, or similar technical products. Experience in customer-facing work and basic IT skills, such as working in case or business systems, are also advantageous.

You have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy working in a role where no day is the same. You are flexible and adaptable, while also being meticulous and quality-conscious in your execution. Since the role involves a lot of customer contact, you are trustworthy, communicative, and professional in your interactions. You enjoy representing the company at the customer site and prefer to work closely with a colleague, seeing collaboration as a natural prerequisite for effective and quality results.

About the Position

The employment is a permanent position with an initial probationary period of six months. The position is located in Kvillsfors and is full-time, with working hours currently scheduled from Monday to Thursday including 1-3 overnight stays per week.
