JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist, you will work with one of the best and most enriching things there is - making everyday life better for our patients.

You will work from a health-promoting and rehabilitative approach. The tasks are assigned to both special and ordinary housing. Your responsibilities include assessment, treatment, follow-up, and provision of assistive devices. In your work, you will have close contact with patients, as well as with relatives and other people in the patient's network. The work is carried out in teams and in close collaboration with other professionals.

Your work includes instructing, educating, and supervising relatives and care staff in the daily work around the patient. The measures are based on the patient's needs and goals and are individually adapted to contribute to increased independence and participation in everyday life.

We offer you a broad and flexible assignment with freedom under responsibility, where you have the opportunity to make a difference and influence your work. You will have scheduled visits that you can regulate, but there will also be acute situations that may require you to reorganize your workday.

The work team consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, assistive technology specialists, alarm coordinators, and vision and hearing instructors. You will have cheerful and experienced colleagues in a driven and secure group, where we share our knowledge and support each other. You will always have close access to collegial support, and the municipality's MAR works in close collaboration with the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.

You are responsible and have a strong commitment and interest in your work. You see opportunities before difficulties and enjoy working independently as well as in a team. You are a good communicator and enjoy teaching/instructing.

A B driver's license is required for the position.
