Our Operations

30E is an internal medicine department with 24 inpatient beds, and the department also runs a day care clinic. The department primarily receives patients with cardiovascular diseases, where we care for patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, aortic diseases, hypertension, and venous thromboembolism. All rooms in the department have a sluice system, of which nine are single rooms with the possibility to care for patients with isolation needs. The average length of stay is five days.

The department is equipped and has the competence for telemetry (wireless ECG monitoring). For nurses, there is an opportunity for professional development through Uppsala University’s individual courses in heart diseases. We also run the outpatient unit for heart failure. The largest intake of our patients comes from the emergency department and IMA. We also receive patients who need inpatient care from mobile nursing teams and the outpatient unit for heart failure.

Your Mission

We are now looking for nurses for our department. Here you will gain broad experience and have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and learn more deeply about the internal medical conditions that exist and the current treatment for these. As a nurse in 30E, your mission is care and treatment where the patient should always be the focus.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in internal medicine.

As a person, we want you to have great commitment and pride when caring for patients in need of medical treatment.

We offer a permanent position with a degree of employment and start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applied. We at Uppsala University Hospital can assist with housing if you do not live in Uppsala. As a newly graduated nurse, you will have the opportunity to participate in KUÅ.
