We are looking for committed and caring personal assistants with a coordinating role to provide support and service according to the individual needs and wishes of the users as per decisions.

Experience working in personal assistance or a similar field. Understanding of the user's individual needs and wishes. Ability to create and maintain a safe and respectful relationship with the assistance user. Flexibility and ability to take initiative.

In the role of coordinator, you will work closely with the unit manager, where you are responsible for planning and coordinating the daily work.

The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

You primarily work in your core profession as a support assistant with the coordinating role as part of your daily work. The coordinating role includes the following tasks:

• Manage acute and planned absences according to established processes, including handling in Heroma web.
• Plan introductions for newly hired staff and substitutes.
• Plan and allocate the daily staffing based on the users' assessed assistance needs and the needs of the operation, such as training, team meetings, etc.
• Perform and manage orders as well as review and handle invoices.
• In collaboration with the unit manager and administrator, contribute to good quality and cost-effective resource management.
• Work with assistance users as part of the job.

Additional tasks may be added within the framework of the assignment based on the specific needs of the operations.

Qualifications

As a permanent employed support assistant with a coordinating assignment within the care administration, you need to have an understanding of the operations and the ability to work from a holistic perspective. A methodical and structured approach is important parts that you master.

You have the ability to collaborate and communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues and have a professional attitude. You take great responsibility for your tasks, can work independently but are also a good team player. You adapt easily to rapid changes.

Conditions

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title, and you must apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant.

To be employed, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record (form 442.3 – control of your own information according to § 9, 1st paragraph). You must have passing grades in Swedish.

Interviews may occur during the application period.

A driver's license is required.
