Your new job
As a case officer within Funktionsstöd, you will be part of the area of authority work.
In this role, you will work with the overall decision-making process for individuals with disabilities according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). Your tasks will include investigating, assessing, and making decisions based on current legislation as well as following up on those decisions. The work involves contact with both citizens and relatives, providers of the decided interventions, other authorities, and healthcare providers. Your role includes providing accurate and clear information about services and assistance. This also includes documentation in the operational system Combine.
Your qualifications
- You have a degree in social work or equivalent relevant education with requirements for social law and work experience in authority practice
- You have good knowledge of current legislation and it is desirable to have basic knowledge of disabilities
- Experience in case management based on SoL and LSS within social services or other authority practice is an advantage
- Experience with the individual's needs in focus (IBIC) and motivational interviewing (MI), as well as operational systems Combine and Cosmic is desirable
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills
- A valid driver's license (B) is an advantage

Welcome to us
You will become part of a team of 35 competent case officers who together are responsible for legally secure and professional assessments for the municipality's residents. We work based on clear process maps and routines for the various work processes and interventions that may be relevant. With us, you will receive strong collegial support, case supervision both individually and in groups, and if needed, also external supervision. The workplace is centrally located in Jönköping at Sofiahuset, Kapellgatan 21.
The unit is organized based on three target groups:
- Physical disabilities
- Intellectual disabilities
- Mental/neuropsychiatric disabilities
Good to know
The recruitment is for a parental leave substitute for approximately one year, with the possibility of extension. The position is aimed at the target group of intellectual disabilities, and the distribution may be adjusted over time based on the needs of the organization. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
