About the position

As a pediatric nurse with us, you will have a varied, diverse, and independent job. The assignment involves working based on the child health care's basic program to promote children's health and development. Your tasks will include assessing children's development, supporting parental roles, home visits to our newborns, parent groups, medical consultations, as well as telephone advice and chat at the pediatric clinic. You will play an important role as an advisor to the families you meet.

We can offer a temporary position from 2026-04-27 to 2027-09-30, where 40% of the work is allocated to the pediatric clinic at Vårdcentralen Slöinge and 20% at Vårdcentralen Vessigebro. If there is interest in an extended position, there is also the possibility to work at the district nurse's clinic in Slöinge.

Who are we?

Vårdcentralen Slöinge is a small, well-functioning, and beloved operation with a family-like atmosphere where teamwork is the foundation of daily work and its enjoyment. We have about 2,900 registered patients who care about their healthcare center and show great appreciation. Our healthcare center receives very good reviews in the National Patient Survey (NPE), where patients rank us among the very best in Sweden. Vårdcentralen Slöinge has good accessibility and we are there for our patients. Here, we put health at the center and offer patients a complete range of close care.

Our medical clinic has two specialist doctors in general medicine, one nursing assistant, and one medical secretary. There are also three district nurses, a diabetes clinic, as well as asthma-COPD, pediatric care, and we have a physiotherapist (once a week). We have a strong collaboration with Falkenberg's healthcare center regarding other health and rehabilitation services.

Vårdcentralen Vessigebro is the small healthcare center located idyllically in the countryside, about a 20-minute drive from Falkenberg. It is easy to reach us via public transport and by car. We actively work to maintain our good accessibility and appreciation from our approximately 2,300 registered patients, and we know that they appreciate the service our healthcare center can provide. Here we meet all ages, from newborns to the very elderly.

About you

We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse or a licensed nurse with specialized training focused on health and medical care for children and adolescents. Previous experience in outpatient work at a pediatric clinic is an advantage.

We see that you have a pronounced service sense, are flexible, and have the ability to prioritize among tasks. It is also important that you find it easy to collaborate within the team and between different professions. We highly value collaboration and team spirit.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
