Onsala home care operates in a picturesque area just outside the city center.

We drive electric cars to our care recipients and we offer free parking for those who drive to work. With us, you will be part of a strong team where respect, collaboration, and joy at work are at the center. Onsala home care consists of about 40 employees and within the team, there is a high level of competence and a strong sense of responsibility, as well as two unit managers who work with shared leadership.

The role of Nursing Assistant, Care Assistant, and Aide with us

You will be part of an organization where collaboration and engagement are prominent. We work based on the Kungsbacka model – a working method where care staff together with care recipients design the services and plan the time based on their individual needs and wishes.

Your profile

You have a genuine interest in working with people. You contribute to the experience of safety through a reliable and professional approach. You are comfortable handling technical solutions in daily work and have the ability to create participation in everyday life for those we serve. As a person, you enjoy working independently and can adapt to changing circumstances while seeing opportunities in everyday life. You like working in a team where everyone is equally important and enjoy working in a dynamic and exciting environment. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for you who:

• are at least 18 years old
• hold a B driver's license
• express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent position with placement according to agreement. We also offer summer temporary positions with placement according to agreement.

Regarding day and evening shifts as well as weekends: The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Health & Care, all employees in home care and care homes are employed at 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce to the desired employment rate based on the needs of the operation. The schedule includes day, evening, and every other weekend shifts.

Regarding the position for constant weekends: You will receive a permanent position where the weekend assignment is limited to six months with a chance of extension. The employment rate is 71 or 85% and includes time for workplace meetings (APT).

Before an offer of employment, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. Therefore, when employed as a nursing assistant, you must present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant.
