The Swedish National Heritage Board is the national authority that leads and supports the work of preserving, using, and developing cultural heritage. Our operations are located in Visby, Stockholm, and Tumba, and we also conduct public activities at the visitor site Glimmingehus. We have approximately 250 employees.

At the Finance Unit, we offer an exciting opportunity for you who have solid experience in public procurement and contract law, especially within the IT sector.

In the unit, there are financial controllers, an accounting economist, and a procurement officer, and we now need to strengthen the team with another experienced procurement officer with contract expertise.

Your responsibilities

In your role as a procurement officer, you provide strategic and qualified support to purchasers in the authority's departments on issues primarily concerning IT services and products. You independently drive and lead procurements regarding framework agreements and larger procurements as well as call-offs throughout the entire process. You are also a qualified support in procurement issues for individual procurements. You ensure that the procuring authority follows the procurement regulations as well as internal routines and guidelines in connection with public procurement, renewed competitive bidding, and call-offs from state framework agreements.

You have a governing, but also a consultative and supportive role towards the operations. The work requires a tactical and strategic mindset as well as a high degree of business acumen. You will work with the complex legal issues that may arise in the purchasing process and investigate legal matters related to contracts.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in law, or alternatively another education such as vocational training in procurement and purchasing or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You have several years of experience in public procurement and contractual legal issues, preferably within IT. You are therefore well-versed in procurement work and contract law, where your understanding of the technical terms in the work is particularly good, and you are keen to maintain and develop your specialist knowledge.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as you will formulate clear requirements for bidders.

As a procurement officer with us, you need to be able to independently plan and structure your work. You are confident in your legal expertise, and it comes naturally to you to build good relationships, find solutions, and let your pedagogical ability be part of your communication when needed.

The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period starting by agreement. The place of employment is Visby or Stockholm, with the possibility of remote work up to 50%.
