We are looking for an engaged care assistant, preferably with experience, for a permanent position at the special housing, Amnegården, Gullspång.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Care assistant with placement in two departments, Fågelön and Storön, at special housing.

The goal of our work is for our care recipients to have as safe, independent, and meaningful a life as possible according to their conditions and abilities. Performing delegated tasks from the nurse is, of course, a given in your work. In dementia care, we work with person-centered care based on life stories and implementation plans. In the work with users with dementia, the BPSD registry is used as a tool in individual care.

Your tasks include meeting the individual’s needs for social content, care, and service in their home. As an employee in special housing, you collaborate with residents, colleagues, nurses, rehabilitation staff, relatives, guardians, and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a trained care assistant, where training in dementia and experience working with the BPSD registry is advantageous, as well as experience with the Lifecare tool for documentation.

As a person, you are solution-oriented and can handle challenges. You are a flexible individual who easily adapts to different or changing circumstances. You take responsibility for your tasks and have no problem working independently. We expect you to be meticulous, calm, and stable, with a positive attitude towards work, colleagues (where you work on team cohesion), and care recipients. Good collaboration and initiative skills are required.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills, are a requirement. It is important that you have a positive view of people, a strong commitment, a sense of responsibility, and focus on the individual needs of the elderly. We are looking for someone who believes in the equal value and rights of all individuals.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, where approach, attitude, and collaboration skills are important ingredients.
