Care Assistant at Björkgården in Mariestad

Björkgården is one of our ordinary residential areas located in a single building in central Mariestad. Here, elderly individuals live in their own apartments, and we have 29 employees providing care to these wonderful individuals!

We are now looking for a care assistant for a permanent position who wants to be part of our team. If you are a positive and attentive team player who is passionate about making a difference, you might be the one we are looking for!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include personal care, delegated medical tasks such as venipunctures and extensive wound dressings, as well as service and daily chores. The work also involves close collaboration with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. The work is largely independent, but double staffing may also occur.

We work with a contact person system and representative assignments where you as an employee have the opportunity to develop and be part of the development of the organization.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting as soon as possible by agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and preferably has work experience from home care.

As a person, you should be solution-focused, development-oriented, and driven. You are also attentive, positive, and confident in individual meetings with clients and have a good ability to work independently. Since the work also relies on close collaboration with your colleagues, a flexible approach is required to step in where needed and provide support as necessary.

We welcome applicants with experience in meeting individuals with mental health issues. You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. This is due to the fact that many of your tasks involve receiving instructions and conveying information correctly and clearly.

A driving license (B) is an advantage.

We expect you to have a certain level of digital maturity in computer and mobile usage as we use these as work tools.

We operate on a 14-week schedule with varied working hours during days, evenings, weekends, and you will work six out of fourteen weekends. The schedule also includes resource shifts to cover for absences at other workplaces.
