Experienced Backend Developers – Gjensidige Sweden

Gjensidige is one of the leading insurance companies in the Nordic region and one of the largest companies listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. We operate in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark and have a total of approximately 4600 employees. Gjensidige Försäkring was established in Sweden in 2007. Here, we have around 300 employees located in Stockholm, Luleå, Malmö, and Gävle, offering insurance products to individuals and businesses. About the role

We are now looking for two experienced backend developers with at least 3–5 years of experience. You have a strong interest in modern development methods, CI/CD, cloud platforms, integrations, and API design. The workplace is Stockholm. Familiarity with Gjensidige Sweden is an advantage. You will be a central part of our technology team and contribute to developing innovative and stable solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities;

• Development and maintenance of our digital services and products

• Contribute to technical decisions regarding architecture and design

• Collaborate closely with other developers, designers, and product teams

Technology stack;

• Backend: Java

• DevOps and infrastructure: CI/CD, Azure, Kafka

• API and integrations: REST, microservices architecture

About you

• You have at least 3–5 years of experience as a backend developer

• You have a good understanding of software architecture and high code quality

• You are curious, proactive, and collaborate well in teams

• You have experience with cloud platforms and modern development tools

• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken
