We are looking for an Area Architect for a government agency responsible for managing payment flows.

This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of Area Architect IT focuses on technology/infrastructure and security within the agency's digital systems and services. The architect participates in architectural governance, drives the architecture towards the target image, supports development teams with requirements management and solution proposals, and acts as a requirements setter for external infrastructure services. The role combines work with infrastructure and tactical security work and requires analytical, structured, and proactive abilities in collaboration with agile teams.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development of the target image and drive the architecture towards it

Identify and communicate with stakeholders in the area

Support development projects with requirements management, solution proposals, and prioritizations

Support teams with security-related issues, security evaluations, and threat modeling

Act as a requirements setter/orderer for external infrastructure services

Work in a modern environment consisting of Java on RHEL and .NET on Windows Server

Apply terms/acronyms such as IaaS, PaaS, Weblogic Server, OpenShift, Docker, AMQ Artemis, RDBMS/SQL, Maven, Git, OWASP OAuth/OpenIDConnect, PKI, RBAC, CVE/CVSS, Splunk, S3, SIEM, EDR/XDR, zero trust, PAM

Collaborate with the businesses and work in agile teams

Participate in architectural governance and lifecycle management

Work independently, analytically, structured, proactively, and withstand stress

Requirements (Mandatory)

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

At least 5 years of experience in architecture within the infrastructure/technology layer.

At least 3 years of experience with container-based platforms and associated toolsets (CI/CD, automation, etc.)

At least 3 years of experience acting as a requirements setter/orderer for infrastructure-related services.

Experience in advisory work to development teams on security issues.

Good understanding of what zero trust means and possible application areas.

Experience with larger government agencies with complex environments.

Broad and active knowledge of strategic architectural governance.

Broad work experience in preparation and requirements management.

Independently driven and completed investigations/pre-studies.

Post-secondary education in Data/IT, or equivalent competence assessed as equivalent.

Desirable

Experience in conducting and/or facilitating security reviews.

Knowledge/work experience in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, etc.
