About the operation

As one of our psychologists is soon going on parental leave, we are now looking for a substitute for one year.

The Resource Reception for Addiction is part of PBÖ - Psychiatry Addiction Outpatient Care and is organized in a matrix organization, meaning we are a resource operation for the clinic's base receptions – Addiction Reception Hisingen and Addiction Reception Olskroken.

The operation has four assignments:

• We organize the efforts of psychologists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation coordinators in the base operation
• We work with F-ACT (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment) as a method to intensify efforts for patients at the base receptions during a specific assignment for a certain period
• We have a comprehensive group activity that all staff members at the reception are involved in
• We also have a special assignment where we have a number of fixed patients with an associated medical resource

The target group is individuals over 18 years old with severe mental illness and complex needs due to psychiatric issues and/or substance use who are already affiliated with the Addiction base receptions.

The reception has a clear operational idea and vision where we want to improve and develop care for patients within the target group. Part of this work includes implementing new knowledge and evaluating our operations.

Job responsibilities

The job responsibilities consist of psychological/psychiatric assessment work and diagnostics as well as treatment work both individually and in groups. The assessment work always starts with a joint evaluation where both a doctor and a psychologist participate. It may also be relevant to train and supervise other professional groups within our three operations as needed.

You will work both independently and in collaboration with the reception's other staff members as well as in the teams formed around the patient, as well as with other relevant parties. You will not be a fixed care contact for patients but will work on assignments and in resource groups around patients that last for shorter or longer periods.

Part of the work will also involve operational development regarding the implementation and evaluation of new treatment methods and working models.

About you

We are looking for a licensed psychologist. You have an interest in working integratively and flexibly with patients who have substance dependence and psychiatric comorbidity. We also hope you enjoy being involved in developing the operation as well as working towards common goals.

As the work requires good teamwork for the benefit of the patient, strong communication and collaboration skills are important. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
