Affective Psychiatry Clinic in Uddevalla

The psychiatric clinic is seen as the base of the specialist psychiatric operations where the goal is to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's local environment as much as possible.

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will have very varied tasks. Such as investigating, assessing, and treating the patient based on their needs. The work is carried out both individually and in groups. Primary tasks consist of functional/activity assessments, work ability assessments, testing and prescribing cognitive aids, and structuring daily life. If necessary, the work is performed in the individual's local environment, and home visits to the patient are common. You will be a fixed care contact for a number of the team's patients, which means you are the patient's closest contact at the clinic.

Qualifications

Licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience in adult psychiatry. Further education in CBT Level 1 is an advantage.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, orderly, creative, and interested. You have good collaboration skills. You enjoy working independently and in a team. You are positive and engaged and want to contribute to the development of the clinic's work and routines in the right direction. We work in a fast-paced and changing everyday life, and it is important that you can handle it in a way that benefits the organization and your own recovery. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
