About us

The midwifery clinics in Trollhättan, Lilla Edet, and Vänersborg have a common manager and work closely together, for example through joint workplace meetings and the same telephone system (ACE).

All clinics are centrally located with good communication options. At the clinic in Trollhättan, about eleven midwives work, and in May 2022 we moved into new, fresh premises located in Odenhuset. The clinic in Lilla Edet is a smaller clinic with two midwives and is part of a family center-like operation. The clinic is co-located with the Youth Clinic, Närhälsan Rehab Clinic, FOSB psychologists, family center, health center, and BVC, making it easy to collaborate with healthcare neighbors.

About the job

As a midwife, you will work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties will include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell sample checks, vaccinations, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and group parental support. You will also work with telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and supervision of students.

About you

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience from working in a midwifery clinic is advantageous. As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You also have a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

The place of employment for the position is in Trollhättan, but there will also be work in Lilla Edet.
