About the position

As a bus mechanic at Wist Last & Buss in Örnsköldsvik, you will be part of a skilled and cohesive team working with service, troubleshooting, and repair of Volvo and Iveco buses as well as other heavy bus vehicles. The work includes mechanical maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic work on the entire vehicle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing repairs and service according to work orders.
• Conducting complete troubleshooting on heavy buses.
• Providing documentation for ordering spare parts.
• Conducting self-checks and quality assurance of completed work.
• Compiling work orders and reporting to the workshop manager.
• Providing technical support and assistance to colleagues.

We are looking for someone who

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a vehicle technical education and at least two years of experience as a bus mechanic. You are used to working independently but also thrive in a team, and you have a genuine interest in vehicle and bus technology.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing heavy buses.
• Good computer skills and experience with diagnostic tools.
• Category B driver's license (heavier qualifications are an advantage).
• Knowledge in hydraulics, vehicle electronics, transport refrigeration, or superstructures is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Swedish or English.
