Storängsgården is located about two kilometers south of Finspång's center.

Here we have 72 apartments distributed across ten departments. The types of accommodation offered are nursing homes and nursing homes with a dementia focus. We also have a nursing home department with a Finnish focus. Our facilities include a well-equipped activity room, café area, and sunroom. There is also a gym, hair salon, and assembly hall. We can also boast of two beautiful inner courtyards with space for parties, activities, and socializing.

In addition to nursing assistants and care assistants, several team leaders, specialist nursing assistants, and nurses work at the facility. The residents also have access to doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and dental care as needed. Additionally, therapy dogs and several external actors enrich the residents' everyday lives with activities.

Your future tasks

You will perform customary care and support services for, with, and on behalf of those living at Storängsgården. Your tasks include personal care, social support and activities, meal support, and delegated medical tasks. You will also perform service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

You will also take on the role of contact person for one or more residents, which means you are particularly responsible for listening to and meeting their individual needs and wishes, as well as establishing/updating care plans. You will document and work based on individually developed care and implementation plans in the operational system LifeCare.

Working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, as well as every other weekend according to a schedule. Initially, you will be placed and introduced to your main department. In the long run, you are expected, like all employees in the unit, to also be able to work in other departments as needed.

You are a responsible, service-oriented, and empathetic person who does their best to ensure that our residents receive good care and support. You work according to established routines and methods, as well as manage changes and unforeseen events. Independence and personal responsibility are central, but you also collaborate well with colleagues, team leaders, unit managers, relatives, and others. You have a positive attitude towards your work and approach challenges in a solution-focused and curious way. You also take responsibility for your own and your colleagues' work environment through good treatment and communication. We expect you to communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Experience and knowledge of elderly care and dementia care are meritorious. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period, and therefore we encourage you to submit your application early. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
