GIS, Global Information Services in Husqvarna Group, is primarily responsible for overseeing the Group’s IT strategy, systems and infrastructure. GIS provides IT services and solutions including IT security and supports and collaborates with the business stakeholders within the divisions. The organization consists of around 260 persons. Most of the organization is located in Huskvarna (Sweden), Charlotte (USA) and Ulm (Germany).
About the team
Group Solutions Team within GIS, consist of 5 team members being focused on enabling and driving Group Function strategic IT priorities (Group Finance, Group P&O, Group Legal, Indirect Sourcing) and in addition the responsibility of the day to day service delivery of Group HR systems.
About the role
We are now seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join GIS. In this role, you will lead and coordinate value delivery within a Capability Area, enabling Lean-Agile ways of working, managing dependencies between Solution Clusters, and ensuring delivery teams are aligned towards shared objectives. You will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure sustainable delivery of business value.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate SAFe events and workflows within the Capability Area
- Manage and visualise dependencies between Solution Clusters and teams
- Ensure delivery against business goals and priorities
- Drive continuous improvement and coach teams in Lean-Agile ways of working
- Monitor and report on delivery status, risks, and impediments
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and other key stakeholders
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of Lean-Agile methodology and the SAFe framework
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change
- Ability to manage complex dependencies and prioritise deliveries
In addition, you bring strong communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You are analytical and solution-oriented, with a clear focus on delivering business value, and you are comfortable navigating complex environments. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Location
This position can be based at our sites in Huskvarna, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup (approximately 50% onsite).
