Who are we?

The main mission of the Care and Support Office is to meet the needs for support, care, and assistance primarily for the elderly and to make a difference in these interactions. We are also responsible for providing meals to preschools, schools, and the Care and Support Office's activities.

Trumpetaregatan 2 is a special accommodation located in a scenic area next to Vrinneviskogen. We have five departments, three of which focus on dementia care. Our accommodation has a Finnish profile in accordance with the Finnish administrative area.

We are now looking for a part-time substitute care assistant for one of our departments without a specific focus. We work based on the individual’s wishes and needs with quality in focus. You will be part of a team alongside licensed staff where you contribute with your knowledge and experience. Through the various professional competencies, we work to meet the individual’s needs for support, care, and service.

Your Responsibilities

Your role includes creating conditions for the individual to experience a meaningful existence. You provide support and care of the highest quality and clarify, when necessary, communication so that the individual’s voice and will are in focus. You perform health and medical tasks based on instructions from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

Your work includes being a contact person and documentation, which means you must have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Working hours are scheduled during the day/evenings and two weekends out of four.

You will replace a regular employee during their absence, and the substitute position extends until the summer with a chance for extension.

Who are you?

You are a trained care assistant according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations, and we would prefer if you have experience in care and support work. We also view positively if you have experience in service professions. Knowledge of the Finnish language is an asset.

As a person, you are collaborative and work together with your colleagues to make life as good as possible for the individual. You have a good ability to cooperate and apply new working methods both in a group and independently.

In your professional role, you are calm and secure to master the challenges and changes that the work may entail. You have the ability to meet people based on their different situations.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
