Responsibilities

In the role of Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), you will be responsible for quality assurance and quality control. Together with relevant purchasing functions, you will participate in the qualification of new suppliers and act on and follow up supplier-related quality deviations with the aim of continuously improving quality. The role includes collaborating with relevant functions to ensure that outcome samples and control reports are handled, documented, and communicated with relevant parties. You will drive and document both root cause investigations and deviation cases. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting processes for supplier follow-up, development, and creation of governing documents. Communication with suppliers and other stakeholders is part of the tasks, as well as planning and conducting supplier audits. The role has a global perspective, where travel to suppliers around the world is an important part of the job. This gives you the opportunity to work closely with partners, ensure high quality in the supply chain, and strengthen customer relationships internationally.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or experience from a similar role in the manufacturing industry • Experience in a role as SQE or equivalent • Experience in quality assurance and supplier development • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and your technical English is fluent. As a person, you have a strong interest in technology and a desire to continuously develop. You show great commitment to the tasks you undertake and to collaboration with your colleagues and suppliers. Your work is characterized by quality awareness, and your analytical ability allows you to identify complex problems and find innovative solutions. At the same time, you need to have a strong ability to prioritize and reprioritize when the situation requires it. Your flexibility means you can quickly adapt to new challenges and act proactively in unexpected situations.
