Bengtsfors Municipality is looking for someone who wants to work as a nursing assistant at Solbacken's special accommodation. Solbacken is a dementia care facility that is Star Certified according to the Swedish Dementia Centre's educational model. Here, we prioritize our residents' needs and offer a safe and respectful care environment around the clock. We are looking for an engaged and professional team member who wants to make a difference in the daily lives of our elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as assistance with hygiene, transfers, and meals
• Offer social interaction and individual activities
• Participate in the planning and implementation of care interventions
• Collaborate with nurses and other professionals
• Document and follow up on care and support interventions in the Lifecare data system in accordance with applicable routines and regulations
• After completing training and passing the exam, you are expected to perform delegated health and medical care tasks
• Contribute to a positive and developing work environment

Qualifications

• Relevant nursing assistant education and preferably experience from similar work or ongoing education to become a nursing assistant
• Experience and interest in working with individuals with dementia
• Flexible, responsible, and genuinely interested in helping others
• Able to work both independently and in a team
• Good communication skills and a respectful approach
• Familiar with documentation and working with digital tools
