JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the work within preschool and primary school/adapted primary school, you will be tasked with helping children/students develop both academically and emotionally. This lays the foundation for lifelong learning. In this area, you can work as a childcare worker, teaching assistant, or unqualified educator.

In elderly care, geriatric psychiatry, and night work in elderly care, you assist elderly individuals with various support services, such as personal care, hygiene, mobility assistance, cleaning, laundry, shopping, escorting, supervision, and activities like walks. The work is performed both in residential facilities and in the individual's private home. The job also includes documentation. At night, you often work alone but have close collaboration with the night nurses from home care.

In functional support, you provide support, social services, and care to users in their daily lives. You work in LSS housing, such as group homes or service apartments, or with personal assistance.

In neuropsychiatry, you provide support, care, and guidance to children, adolescents, and young adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities, such as ADHD and autism. You work to meet the child/adolescent based on their development and functional level. The work is done both in teams and independently.

In meal services, our goal is to make the meal a holistic experience together with other staff! To achieve this, you will work with all tasks in a kitchen: preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner for children, students, and the elderly. Ordering goods from suppliers and managing meal portions in the dietary software Matilda are other tasks that contribute to creating an experience for those who eat the food we serve. You may also work with cooking and handling and serving special diets.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preschool and Primary School/Adapted Primary School: For work in the Education sector, you must have a recognized education at the high school level and at least a language level corresponding to basic Swedish course 1. You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and be good at building relationships while being a secure and creative person. You enjoy working with children and young people and prioritize their needs.
• Elderly Care/Geriatric Psychiatry/Night Patrol: You see people as individuals and want to strengthen their own resources. You enjoy working in a team but are also comfortable with working alone. You are responsible, service-oriented, stress-resistant, and attentive. A good attitude towards others is very important. You have a degree as a nursing assistant or have experience in care work. You need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have computer skills.
• Functional Support/Neuropsychiatry: You see people as individuals and want to strengthen their own resources. You are meticulous, stress-resistant, and flexible, seeing the whole picture while focusing on the individual meeting. You are passionate about helping others. It is an advantage if you have education in the field or work experience as a personal assistant or treatment assistant.
• Meal Services: It is important that you understand that what we eat is a significant part of how we experience our lives and our days. You are quality-conscious, both regarding what we produce and how we do it. You enjoy working in a team and being helpful to others. It is an advantage if you have education in nutrition and work experience in a kitchen.
